Dona

It's never easy saying what you need to say. 
It's never easy saying it to the person you need to say it to. 
You run a million scenarios, try to predict their answers, reaction and even the outcome. 
I never truly started telling people about the mixed up emotions brewing in my mind. 
I loved and but I was afraid to say I love you, 
until I met you and the love of your life. There was no ignoring that this was God's work. 
Your departure taught me something, your life taught me everything. 
Never be afraid to love and give love. 
Love is beautiful, love is everything. 
I saw what it meant to truly love, and still love. 
From that day, I vowed to love and by whatever means say I love you. 
Life is precious and we never truly know when God will call his angels home. He called you.
I hope you know how many lives you touched. 
I hope you know how seeing you love, has changed my heart forever.

Bland

After the earthquake, I smile. I might fall a little or maybe a lot but I get up.  I get up because I realize that there is nothing down there for me to do. Down was not home; it was uncomfortable. Poco a poco with a spoon for a shovel and faith so big, Mount Everest trembles, I crawl out. Residue lingers but making the best of the moment is what counts. That's all that matters. When dry runs and inconvenient pit falls run amok.  The moment counts.  All the moments count.
